We’re on the search for a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The accelerator program will take you through all aspects of B2B SaaS business development starting with one year in our Sales Development team followed by 1 year as an Associate Account Executive thereafter you’ll be promoted to Account Executive.

What will you be doing?

You’ll play an instrumental role in the growth of one of the fastest growing tech companies today. You’ll be prospecting companies that fit our ICP and engaging with leads who are genuinely interested in our platform and are looking for a steady hand to guide them through the buyer's journey. You’ll be the first person these prospects speak with and you will be genuinely curious about finding out all their needs and challenges whilst clearly explaining how Plytix can make their lives easier and get them closer to their goals. You’ll do this by being yourself and creating a relationship of trust with your prospects. Because honesty and doing the right thing matters, you know?

After 1 month:
You'll be on your way to becoming a Plytix PIM expert. You’ll be working hard to gain deep knowledge of the Plytix Platform and in the process you’ll have had the chance to build out your very own fully functioning PIM. You’ll learn the Plytix way when it comes to sales with lots of interactive sales training sessions. You’ll be ramped up and conducting explorer calls via Google Hangouts and phone calls. You’ll be focused on building pipeline and will be well on your way to becoming a PIM expert.
6 months in:

You’ll be a true brand ambassador of Plytix after gaining a very deep knowledge and understanding of all things PIM and Ecommerce. You’ll be an expert in active listening. Your days will be filled with prospecting, engaging and qualifying prospects via video, phone, email and Google Hangouts. You’ll fully understand that everything you do has the underlying goal of our clients receiving best-in-class advice and customer service.

You will be fully confident in your ability and a master at using best-in-class sales tools. You’ll have all the knowledge you need to be consistently meeting targets and filling the Account Executives pipeline with great prospects that will turn into the next clients of the evergrowing Plytix family. Most importantly, you will be enjoying the success that comes from your hard work

Who will you be working with?
You’ll be working very closely with the members of the Account Executive team as well as the Customer Success team. Both teams will work together to ensure that customers’ expectations become a reality. Our buddy system will ensure you always have an environment where you are comfortable to ask questions and are always learning best practices and sharpening your skills. A true sign of success for our team is when the team is being successful, so the whole team will play a big part and be deeply invested in your success.  But it doesn't stop there, you’ll get exposure and opportunities to work with all of the amazing teams at Plytix.
We expect you to:
  • You are a highly motivated self-starter who brings their “A” game to work every day and consistently raises the bar.
  • You have strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze accounts and opportunities to determine the most appropriate engagement plan.
  • You are socially savvy: experience with social media platforms.
  • You can deliver compelling conversations and actively listen.
  • You have a track record of achieving and exceeding measurable goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of business sales or related experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Self-Starter, independent learner, competitive.
  • Have sales or prospecting experience
